설명

From the Movies

The Jedi taskforce assembled by Mace Windu to confront the Separatist's push for war contained a number of legendary Masters. Among the 200 Jedi that journeyed to the barren world of Geonosis was Agen Kolar, a male Zabrak of considerable skill. The battle in the Geonosian execution arena proved costly for Kolar. Though he survived, his young Padawan did not.

Later, during the Clone Wars, Agen Kolar was appointed a member of the Jedi Council. He was one of a group of Jedi Masters gathered together by Mace Windu to arrest Supreme Chancellor Palpatine. Palpatine refused to go quietly; he sprang forth, imbued with the power of the Force, and cut down Agen Kolar, killing him quickly.

From the Expanded Universe

Agen Kolar quickly put behind him the death of Tan Yuster, his Padawan, and obediently accepted the rank of General in the Clone Wars. To Agen's loyal mind, service to the Republic was the backbone of Jedi duty. He had little patience for the murmurs of dissension in the Jedi ranks following the war's outbreak.

Many of Agen Kolar's previous missions took him to the Mid Rim and fringes of the Republic, though the Clone Wars pulled him closer to the Core. Kolar's clone trooper forces served on Brentaal IV, where they assisted General Shaak Ti as a diversionary strike against the Separatist stronghold commanded by Shogar Tok. His troops were eventually forced to surrender, and Agen Kolar was briefly taken prisoner before Shaak Ti's efforts managed to regain control of the planet.

Agen Kolar was a tough combatant, and diplomacy was not his strong suit. He was dispatched by the Jedi Council to retrieve Quinlan Vos, a Jedi spy who had failed to make contact with Coruscant. Kolar was armed with disturbing evidence that Vos had betrayed the Republic, but he was ultimately unable to capture Vos.

Behind the Scenes

Agen Kolar was originally intended to be Eeth Koth in Episode II. Since Attack of the Clones was shot in Sydney, Australia, the pool of Jedi extras was different than the one used to fill the ranks of the Jedi Council in Leavesden, England during the shooting of Episode I. For The Phantom Menace, Hassani Shapi played Eeth Koth. For Episode II, Tux Akindoyeni was cast in the role, though he appeared different enough from Shapi that the character was renamed and ultimately deemed a different Zabrak Jedi altogether.
