설명

From the Movies

The beautiful Greeata was a Rodian back-up vocalist and dancer in the Max Rebo Band in Jabba's palace.

From the Expanded Universe

As a youngster, Greeata was ostracized by other Rodians for her preoccupations with artistic endeavors, like music, song and dance, as opposed to the more violent pastimes in Rodian society. Her parents tried to cultivate her talents by steering them towards traditional Rodian drama and opera, but their violent themes held no appeal for her.

Greeata would spend much of her time in the alien quarter of Rodia's capital, intermingling with numerous offworld cultures and learning their music, song and dance forms. She became well known and well liked by the offworld "regulars." It seemed as if the only culture Greeata held no interest in was her own.

After finishing school, Greeata landed a gig playing the Kloo horn as part of a band aboard the Kuari Princess luxury liner. She became a good friend with the band's lead singer, Sy Snootles. After having to forcefully reject the advances of a rowdy Rodian bounty hunter, Greeata and Snootles left that band, and became a duo.

While performing at a cantina, the two were spotted by keyboard player Max Rebo. Rebo was taken with Snootles' vocal talents, and gave her the opportunity to audition for the band. Snootles said she wouldn't consider it unless Greeata could join as well. After learning that Greeata could sing, dance, and play the Kloo horn, Max signed her on.

When the rest of the band was stranded in the Tatooine desert following the destruction of Jabba's sail barge, Greeata and fellow singer Lyn Me came to their rescue. Greeata's skill with a blaster helped save the band from marauding Tusken Raiders and helped acquire banthas that they rode to Mos Eisley.
